3DBigDataSpace at Immersive Heritage 2026
Published on 13 Mar 2026
Continuing the successful series of collaborations with other projects contributing to the deployment of the common European data space for cultural heritage, the 3DBigDataSpace team, represented by IN2 and PCSS, will present at the Immersive Heritage 2026 conference, organised by the Lip3D project and its consortium.
Taking place in Timisoara, Romania, from the 18th to the 20th of March, the conference Immersive Heritage 2026 is positioned as a meeting point for experts working at the intersection of digital cultural heritage and immersive technologies, with a programme spanning keynote sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, policy dialogue, and scientific exchange.
We will contribute to the programme during Day 1 which is focusing on “Immersive Technologies for Cultural Heritage Preservation”. Paweł Marciniak (PCSS) will deliver a presentation of the 3DBigDataSpace project during the morning workshop session. During lunch, the participants can meet the 3DBigDataSpace team members at the exhibition “Guided Tour of the XR Heritage Experience”, where we will demonstrate the latest results from the project. On the second day of the event, which is focused on “Serious games, Engagement & Cultural Storytelling”, Alexandru Stan (IN2) will be part of the Panel “Designing Interactive Heritage Experiences”, discussing the innovative pilots that are being deployed in the project.
We look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and ideas that will emerge from the event in Timișoara. You can still register to attend in-person or follow the presentations online.
