Explore the common European data space for cultural heritage
The Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage is a flagship initiative of the European Commission and one of the 14 data spaces funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme. It enables the open, interoperable and trustworthy sharing of cultural heritage data across Europe.

Led by the Europeana Initiative, the data space supports cultural heritage institutions and EU Member States in advancing digital transformation through shared standards, tools, services and a strong collaborative network.

Its newly launched website offers a central gateway to explore data, projects, tools, training opportunities and collections available via Europeana and its aggregators. The platform is accessible in all 24 official EU languages, ensuring broad participation across Europe.

As the ecosystem continues to grow, the data space remains a key driver in building a connected and data-driven future for Europe’s cultural heritage.
