Meet us at Europeana Conference 2025
Published on 28 Oct 2025
We are excited to announce that the 3DBigDataSpace will have a strong participation at the Europeana Conference 2025, a key event for the data space for cultural heritage.
Held on 11-12 June 2025 under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, this hybrid conference is organised in collaboration and partnership with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and the POLIN Museum in Warsaw, who will host the conference. The conference will focus on 3 key themes which are also central to our project: Preserve, Protect, Reuse.
You can meet the 3DBigDataSpace team members at the exhibition stand which will be part of the conference Fair. A few surprises await those that stop by, so a visit is well worth it. If you can not make it in person, you can visit the online stand which can be accessed here.
Sander Münster, the coordinator of 3DBigDataSpace, will give a short introduction to the project during the Lightning talks session of June 12th starting at 14:30 in Room A.
This session will introduce the project and the first results from the ingestion of large-scale model pools into CERN/Zenodo. One of the major use cases which will be presented in the talk is the provision of 3D digital enhanced information for tourists travelling on heritage routes and in museums.
The 3DBigDataSpace project is looking forward to what promises to be a packed couple of days of fascinating talks, workshops and discussions. We hope to see you in person in Warsaw or online.
